Front End Collision Repair

While we are best known for our full paint jobs and classic restorations, we also stay busy with collision repair work. These jobs are typically in and out in just a few days. Some include repairing dents and other small areas that were damaged in the accident. Others require replacing the damaged areas with new parts and doing the body work to get it straight again. In the case of this 2011 GMC Sierra pickup truck, the front end was badly crushed and caved in. We needed to replace quite a few parts, including the hood, fender, front bumper, headlights, grille, radiator, etc. We order the new parts we need, get them assembled on the truck, ...

Avoid those car dents!

Car dents are very common and can happen so easily. They can come from people parking too close and opening their car door into yours, or from a number of other ways, like hail or a pebble getting kicked up. If you've ever returned to your car to suddenly find a new ding on the side of your vehicle, you know how frustrating it can be. Small car dents are easy to fix, but they still require body work and painting the entire panel it's on to make sure it looks seamless. Sometimes these small collision repairs are unavoidable. However, we can take certain precautions to protect our cars from damage by knowing where they typically come from. Here ...

Next Day Collision Repairs

Many collision repair jobs can be done with a one or two day turnaround. Since these jobs take much less time to repair than our typical restoration work, we are able to schedule them so that we can get to it right away and return it back to you as soon as possible. Why leave your car for a couple weeks? We don't believe that you should have to leave your car at the body shop for a couple weeks in order to get some minor damage repaired. When you do that, we suspect the car is likely out in the parking lot for half of that time, while in many cases,  you could still be driving it. Instead, we schedule our collision repair customers so that we will ...

We like to schedule the car to come in early, so we can order your paint, and new parts if needed, and get started right away. If we can plan our parts replacing jobs ahead like this, we will be able to keep you without a car for as little time as possible. Depending on the damage, we will either repair it or replace the part, whichever is most cost effective for you. Parts Replacing Cars with larger dents that require more labor hours may be easier and cheaper to just replace. This was the ...

Quick repairs keep us busy and our customers happy. It's a win-win. Last week, we were able to get this Mustang in for some quick body repairs and provide a 24-hour turnaround time. We can't always promise one-day turnaround, but especially when it comes to collision repairs, we generally only have the car for a few days. We like to schedule these quick repairs so they'll be in the shop for only the amount of time we need to work on it. That way, you also won't be without your car any longer than necessary. This job called for body work repairs in several areas down the side of the car. Tim focused on the body work right when it came in, and got ...

Car trouble in this crazy winter weather

Winter weather, especially here in the Carolinas, can sure wreck havoc on the roads, and thus our vehicles. This past weekend, we were advised to stay home rather than driving out on dangerous roads. In fact, most people across WNC and the SC Upstate had a long weekend due to the snow. Driving on dangerous roads may lead to accidents with other drivers on the road, or even cause your car to skid off the road and possibly hit a tree or other object. Not having 4-wheel drive made driving nearly impossible this weekend, but even those trucks with 4WD and great tires experienced difficulties on the roads. There were many accidents reported out ...
