The Helmet Halo

The Helmet Halo is a new portable motorcycle helmet holder that travels easily and protects your helmet from dents, scratches, and the possibility of theft. We had the pleasure of meeting Helmet Halo Owner and Asheville local, David Turner, a couple weeks ago. He brought a few Helmet Halos into the shop for us to display for our motorcycle enthusiasts. David designed the helmet halos after he cracked the mouth-piece vent on his helmet when it fell. It was a small, yet pricey replacement. Helmets are bound to take a fall here and there, so a helmet holder reduces the risk of it falling off the bike or the table or wherever you end up riding to. ...

Electroluminescent Painted Guitar

Electroluminescent painted guitars are THE hottest thing to hit music venues and backyard campfires! Think about it; a dark venue, a Lumilor lit guitar. What could be more awesome? Lumilor is an Electroluminescent Coating System that allows us to spray paint pretty much any surface into a light without changing the object at all. Our latest truck restoration was one of the few we've done that went with a classic wood bed instead. In between the wood boards are nice chrome dividers that also add to its visual appeal. Even the bolts are chrome to embellish the look a bit more. You can even ...

Custom Steel Drawers

We've got more custom steel pieces! We do a lot of steel work for a local construction company, usually sanding down and applying a clear coat to the finished product. The metal look is gaining popularity in the home decor industry, so it is always interesting to see what the metal will be used for with each particular project. This time we were given these three square drawers that were going to be fit into the wall of a bedroom to make an in-wall dresser. To get the cool, swirled look on the steel, we sanded down the metal all the way. These pieces were covered in carbon, so we sanded it all off, and Tim did some custom DA sanding to ...
