Custom Painted Shop Sign from S10 Truck Hood
TD Customs is rocking a new shop sign!
We needed a new one after the old one rusted from being in the rain too much. Turns out, if your hood is going to be vertically up against a wall, the rain is going to damage it more than if it's just on your truck. But, it gave us a chance to update the sign with a whole new custom paint job!
It's fun to do random paint jobs where we can be creative. Since this is the sign for the front of the building, we had lots of freedom with how to paint it. We wanted it to stand out and be a cool representation of the custom paint we can do.

Meet our shop buddy, Rod Knock
It all started with a rod knock.
"Hey, do you hear that?"
I say no. I rarely ever hear what he is referring to. Tim has some sort of sixth sense for how his car is feeling at all times. But apparently, there was a rod knocking in the engine. Not good. After that, it started to overheat and have a bunch of other issues.
The El Camino overhaul has been a dream for awhile now. The body shop gets a spruce
Every once in a while, it's time for a little spruce. We've slowly been making changes and cleaning up the shop, but this week we decided to redecorate the front office area of our body shop to make it more fun and inviting. One of the real motivators was that we got so much promotional stuff at the SEMA Show that we needed a place to show it all off. We got a lot of cool posters (quite a few signed!) and pictures, so we knew we wanted to completely redecorate the front office of the shop.

Throwback to that day the shop had a squirrel
It's not every day you see a squirrel wander into an auto body shop!
Thanks to the TimeHop app, I was recently reminded of our little squirrel buddy who showed up at the shop about a year ago. So in honor of #throwbackthursday (we're not much for the #hashtags, but we're trying), I thought I'd post about our lil friend.
An employee at the time, Darryl, was sweeping up the shop, when all of a sudden I hear him yelling about something and telling me to come look.
