Utility truck paint job
You gotta keep the work trucks clean! This 2007 Ford F-450 bucket truck just needed some body maintenance and fresh paint to get back to its original condition.
This was a quick paint job back to the factory white paint it came with. The owner uses this bucket truck for work. It needed a couple new parts, but mainly it just needed some minor rust and body work repairs and for it to be repainted. Customers notice things like how a company's work truck is holding up, so it was time to refinish it.
There wasn't much body damage, so the repairs were minimal. We ...
Quick Pickup Truck Paint Job
This is a pretty cool truck - a 1987 Chevy Silverado, shortbed, 4x4.
The truck came to TD Customs with rust on many of the panels and fading white paint. Our job was to repair all rust and body damage and give it a fresh coat of white paint.
We took the bed off the chassis to do complete body work repairs to the cab and the bed. We also cleaned up the chassis and sealed it with an anti-rust application. The following is the Before pic..
It sure looks a lot nicer after painting the cab and sealing the chassis, as you can see below.
The turnaround on ...

’79 Sierra: Rust repairs & Fresh paint
This 1979 GMC Sierra Classic pickup truck was in the shop for some rust repairs and a fresh paint job. The customer wanted to keep the truck looking original with the same paint scheme. With all the rust, it was just time to do some maintenance on the truck to get it looking new again.
There were some minor dings and waves that required body work. The truck was speckled with rust on the roof and other areas of the truck, such as the driver's side door.
Since the rust was mostly just speckled, this was the best time to get to it. Taking ...
Electric paint that lights up!
Electric paint!
The future of light is here, and it's in the paint!
Thanks to electroluminescent paint, we can now make your paint job light up on command. We connect wires from a battery source right to the paint itself. The paint is actually a complex system of about 6 different coatings that all work together to produce light when energized by power.
When you flip the switch (or press the button, or power it from your smartphone), the light from your paint job turns on. It's really that easy!
Take a look at how 'electric paint' looks in different shades of ...
Ambulance Refinishing & Paint
Commercial vehicle painting isn't something we do often. However, we've been asked to paint an ambulance for a local emergency vehicle distribution company. For this job, we were only doing the back box of the ambulance. This meant all the exterior walls, the roof, and all doors.
A large part of any paint job is the prep work leading up to the actual paint. It takes several stages of sanding to make sure the surface is ready for the paint. Once the entire surface is sanded and any little dings or blemishes are filled, we tape everything off and get ready to paint.

The '66 Mustang restoration is ready for delivery! This classic car needed a little face lift, and got refinished back to it's factory original state. The paint color is a Seaspray blue, which is the Mustang's original color.
Here is the '66 Mustang when it first came in. The doors, front bumper, and a couple other parts needed to be replaced. Other areas, such as the hood and trunk, needed to be restored. We typically choose the most cost effective option when determining whether to repair or replace a given part. There were some other random imperfections to ...
Fixing rust before it spreads
Fixing rust that arises is an important part in the maintenance of your vehicles. This week we did some rust repair on an 1989 Lincoln Continental. It only needed minor rust repair on the passenger side back quarter panel. As you can see from the Before picture, there were some cracks underneath the vinyl top. These cracks are from the paint shipping due to rust underneath.
Once you start to see the little cracks and bubbles in the paint, it's a good time to bring your car in to get the rust repaired. Rust spreads pretty easily, especially if the car is often exp...
