Staying Safe on Winter Roads in WNC

staying safe on wnc winter roads
Winter has finally arrived in NC. After an abnormally warm start, we're now expecting our first big storm. Some people are saying we'll get 28", but that would literally be breaking every snowfall record NC's ever seen. At any rate, big winter storms do cause havoc out on the roads, and increase the risk of getting into a car accident. Here in North Carolina, they describe the level of snowstorm intensity with a complicated system of quantifying how much milk and bread loaves will be needed for survival. That's right, the news station informs us of how many loaves ...

Move over Glow in the dark paint, Lumilor is here.

electroluminescent paint Lumilor
Glow in the dark paint is a thing of the past now that we have this amazing new capability to literally paint light, and control it ourselves using a simple on/off switch. That's right, the new paint product Lumilor is changing the way we can create light. We can now use paint to create a real electric-powered light onto just about anything. Glow in the dark paint, also known as luminescent paint, has been around since the late 1960's. It is 'charged' by exposure to the light, and the color emitted is a soft green color that fades over time. Glow in the dark ...
